Our extra-curricular highlights

Aboriginal Education

Our Aboriginal Education program is supported by our dedicated Aboriginal Student Support Officers, Taeya and Yaz, who play a vital role in building strong, ongoing connections between school, students and families. They actively work with local primary schools and the wider community to support a smooth and positive transition into high school, ensuring students feel known, supported and connected from the very beginning.

Taeya and Yaz maintain a strong presence within our community, supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students through culture, connection and a sense of belonging. They work closely with families, staff and community organisations to support student wellbeing, engagement and personalised pathways, empowering every student to achieve their personal best with pride in their identity.

If you would like to speak with Taeya or Yaz, please don’t hesitate to contact the school.
