Careers
At Narara Valley High School, Careers and Pathways supports students to explore their options, build confidence and make informed decisions about their future.
Students are encouraged to begin thinking about where their interests, strengths and aspirations might take them, while recognising that there is no single pathway to success. Through careers education, individual guidance and practical opportunities, students can explore university, TAFE and vocational education and training, apprenticeships and traineeships, employment and other post-school pathways.
Our Careers and Pathways program provides students with access to career and course information, subject selection and pathway planning, work experience, vocational education and training (VET), School Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships (SBATs), career expos, industry experiences and connections with employers, training providers and further education institutions.
Individual careers counselling and transition support is also available to help students investigate options, develop realistic goals and create a pathway that reflects their interests and aspirations.
Through strong partnerships with families, industry, training organisations, universities and the wider community, Narara Valley High School aims to ensure that students leave school with the knowledge, skills and confidence to take their next step.
