Welcome from our principal
Narara Valley High School is a community focused school committed to excellence and is situated on the Central Coast of NSW on the lands of the Darkinjung people. Through close relationships with parents and caregivers, partner primary schools, local businesses and health professionals, alongside a vast array of other organisations, the school is well placed to nurture the academic and personal growth of students.

Narara Valley High School has something for every student. In addition to a broad curriculum, students have access to prominent academic, creative and performing arts and sporting enrichment programs alongside learning and support opportunities. Staff are highly trained professionals and provide an engaging learning environment for the full range of students.
Wellbeing is at the centre of all that we do at Narara Valley High School. Our large and well-established wellbeing team work closely with the staff and school community to ensure that students are known, valued and cared for.

Wellbeing and support staff
Our wellbeing and support staff guide student wellbeing, learning needs and inclusion. They work with teachers to make personalised adjustments. This means each child can take part fully in school life. We make our school welcoming and accessible to every child.

Once submitted, the referral will be sent directly to our school counsellors, who will then check in with you.

- complete an orange slip at the school’s Front Office
- speak with the Head Teacher Wellbeing
- speak with your Year Advisor, a member of the Wellbeing Support Team, or your classroom teacher
